The people in New York City that attended UFC 244 at Madison Square Garden witnessed the the biggest knockout of the year.  The pay-per-view main card began with a lightweight bout between undefeated prospect Gregor Gillespie and veteran Kevin Lee.  Lee was on a two-fight losing streak, but he ended that slump within the first few seconds of the first round.

Gillespie was caught cold with his hand down.  As soon as Gillespie threw a left jab, he did not have time to cover up before Lee threw a straight right followed by a left kick that sent Gillespie to the stars.
