Woodpeckers are pretty to look at but not a good sign

Whenever I hear the woodpecker peck I know there is a dead tree somewhere.  I try to find out and sadly see one of our good trees is on the verge of saying goodbye to us.  But the woodpecker is doing its job and in a way we get an opportunity to check if we can save the tree by spraying some ani termite solution.
