The sound of the morning

There are loose chickens in our neighborhood maybe around 15 to 20 of the matured plus the small ones. In the morning I would sometimes be awakened by the sound of the rooster. My wife said that we are like living in a rural area. Why not? This is a suburban village which means it is between the city and the rural province.

Once in a while I would give leftover rice to the chickens. It is amusing that they easily learn because they would be welcoming me when they see me coming. Perhaps when it comes to food animals easily learn just like that.
