Ixora comes in many colours and we have them all. The red Ixora however is quite rare. I picked it up from a nursery a long time ago. Since Ixora can be propagated through cuttings I have a few of the red Ixora plants that are blooming.
Ixora thrives in the rain. They are hardy plants and need little or no maintenance. They can live for years. Some plants in our garden are over 20 years.
