The flowering plant called dragon fruit

On the first time that I had tasted dragon fruit, it made me wonder if I can see the tree because the succulent flesh is nice and sweet. Fortunately I was invited to a nursery farm in a suburban town not far from our home. The dragon fruit comes from a cactus plant and not from a tree. It was growing beside an empty structure of a house maybe. The plant has lots of red fruits.

I bought a planting material and was not thinking that it can grow easily and quick. After a year, the plant showed its first flower that later on turned into a fruit. Gee, it was so nice to eat that first harvest and I there were more fruits during that first fruiting season. If you are fond of dragon fruit then try to plant and be proud like me.
