The Blue Trumpet and the Bumblebee

The Blue Trumpet is an invader here and we keep pulling it out as it has spread all over the garden  I must admit however they are beautiful flowers.

I do not see butterflies nor honey bees approaching it but it is the favourite of the bumblebee.  The bee gets right inside the flower and stays there for quite a while.  I do not know if the flower produces nectar. 

I only wish  what we want in our garden  grows as robustly as the  blue trumpet
