Seafood here is expensive even if we live in an archipelago with thousands of islands. The crux is the catching that good seafood are in the deep sea. They need a good boat or even a trawler boat with a net to catch the big prawns and also big fishes. The fishing boat is not cheap and the fishermen have to spend days in their catching.

The prawn is actually a cultured shrimp. They are the big variety that is now cared for in a pond with brackish water. So the prawn is like a fish farming that they can control the size and also the taste. But it is expensive.
