Sweet and sour pork

I learnt to relish a combination of sweet and sour when I started tasting Chinese dishes.  This taste was new to me.  This combination was introduced to me when I had a helping of Sweet and Sour Pork. 

I was interested in making it myself and going through the recipe I was surprised that the recipe had pineapple pieces and honey too apart from the usual sauces. 

I just could not imagine pork could be cooked that has pineapple in it  But after tasting I had no more questions
