When we are pressed for time to cook, our “go to food” is the chicken. Fried chicken is the easiest for us. Marinating it for 15 minutes in soy sauce and lemon before frying is easy. The frying takes less than 30 minutes so that means we have food in less than an hour of preparation and cooking,.
But fried chicken is not really good without a partner. Vegetable salad or even just lettuce or maybe cucumber will help with the taste. But since we have broccoli in the fridge so we can add broccoli to the menu by also frying it in butter. Now that is what I call healthy eating.
