When I was young our front yard was spacious that I converted it into a garden. My parents were glad to see the big lettuce and mustard that I planted. Later on I shifted to cassava because it is very easy to grow. Just plant the cuttings to lie on the ground and covered with 3 inches of soil. After 4 months the tubers start to grow.
Harvest time is usually 6 months but I make it longer so the tubers are bigger. It is easy to harvest when the soil is not sticky. After harvesting my mother would do the cooking. Now I make cassava cake to give to relatives and friends. It can be a good business.
