Ornamental plants to enhance the home

I am a gardener by passion but my gardening involves mainly edibles like vegetables and fruit trees. I have never engaged in ornamental or flowering plants except for a few that my wife bought in the Sunday market.

A cousin said that cultivating ornamental plants can be a big business because some homes can be improved with some potted plants. Think if the potted plant in the living would bear flowers. That’s a nice thought. Maybe you can try.
