If you are living in the temperate zone with winter, would you be proud to have a mango tree? It only grows in tropical places like here in our country. So if I have an apple tree that would be a novelty. My apple sapling is already 1 and ½ years old and I cannot say if it will bear fruit because apples do not grow in tropical places.
I have the penchant of planting unique or novelty plants. Another plant that does not grow in hot climate is the strawberry. I have them for 2 years now and still surviving with 10 pots of tropical strawberry that bears fruit once in a while. What novelty plant do you have?
