“Life is nothing but……

A series of solved problems.”  When I first read this I thought it was very negative. It rubbed me the wrong way. I felt like it was wrong. Still I couldn’t get it out of my head. I have been carrying it around for a couple days now and it’s time to work it out.

This time I didn’t go directly to the dictionary, I asked several people how they would define a problem. I felt like I took a pretty fair sample at 30 people. There was one answer that  I never would have thought of and absolutely loved. “An opportunity”.

The light turned on. I had been looking a problems like roadblocks, obstacles, drawbacks and hitches. How many opportunities had I missed from all the wonderful mistakes and problems I have experienced?

I love the new outlook. I can’t wait to solve my first opportunity of the day.
