I admire golfers

When I was young I thought I would be a golfer. That may be the influence of many of my uncles whose favorite sport is golf. They say that golf is a gentleman’s game since you are playing not against with another player but against yourself. If you score a good game then that’s because of your skills and not because of the competition. In short, you are like competing against yourself.

But when I became an adult, I got to know that golf is a very expensive sport. First things first, you have to be a club member before you can play in the golf  course. A club membership costs an arm and a leg, so to speak. Knowing the other details of golfing, I decided to just play basketball which is way affordable than godl. So my dream of being a golfer did not come to fruition.
