The ICC suspended three players from the UAE team for their alleged crimes under the Anti-Corruption Code before the start of the World T20 qualifiers. UAE captain Mohammad Naveed has been accused of accepting offers from the World T20 qualifiers two days later and the possible match-fixing in this year’s T10-League, He has also been accused of why he did not inform the ICC of this corrupt offer. Batsman Sheman Anwar, fast bowler Qadeer Khan also accused of corrupt activities which he did not inform the ICC in time. Mohammad Naveed, Qadeer Ahmed Khan and Sheman Anwar Butt were included in the UAE’s interim squad for the ICC World T20 qualifiers, two days later.
