Harlen Miller said “Probably the reason we all go so haywire at Christmas time with endless, unrestrained and often silly buying of gifts is that we don’t quite know how to put our love into words.”
He might be correct. So it seems like the right time is a great time to practice using love and kind words with those we care about. Here are some suggestions.
Have a compliment jar. Every morning everyone take a compliment and they find someone during the day to give that compliment to.Here are a few that are in our jar.
“Thanks, your laughter makes me smile.”
“I really love the way you respect other people.”
“Thank you for respecting my wishes. I appreciate that.”
“I love you, just the way you are.”
