Marigolds come in different sizes, colours and textures. I have tried growing marigolds and have met with some success.
Although I managed to get seeds of African marigold they never come up. I have visited gardens in cooler places and I hav witnessed how well these flowers bloom there.
Not just Marigolds even dahlias need a cooler climate for them to grow to the size they are meant to.
I have reconciled to the fact that my garden will not have those flowers that need a cooler climate.
