The Voronet Monastery is a medieval monastery and one of the famous painted monasteries in Southern Bukovina. It’s called as “The Sistine Chapel of the East”, due of the great fresco on the western façade called the Last Judgment. It was built in 1488 by the Moldavian Prince Stephen the Great.
