The Sphinx from the Bucegi Natural Park located in Bucegi Montains is a megalith anthropomorph with 8 m in height and 12 m in width, placed at over 2200 meters altitude and it was named so due of its resemblance to the Egyptian sphinx. Its form is the result of wind erosion, although there are many legends telling about a Dacian human contruction or a work of aliens. Around The Sphinx can be observed also the Babele Complex, a complex of rock formations.
