This reminds me that I need to take out my 4 wooden nutcrackers for this Christmas week holiday decorations. A couple of years ago, I had accident broke one of the nutcrackers while putting them away in the garage. He fell on the garage door and his arm broke off. I wanted to fix him, and I soon realized that glue wasn’t strong enough. So, I decided to use a piece of gum since it was thick and gooey after chewing it for a while. I used it to cement the nutcrackers arm back into place. When the gum died, it hardened around the nutcracker’s shoulder, which kind of looked like a ligament. I am turning into a toy doctor.
