The Lonely Bay by Flaxmill Bay (1/9)

This is one beach where Captain Cook landed near by. He also came here in the early days to see the transit of Venus.
Captain Cook was an early explorer about 1769 and he took many talented people with him to explore the South Pacific Ocean and New Zealand was one of those places.
