Swedish (18/20)

Swedish is a native language to Sweden, Estonia, and some parts of Finland, where it has equal legal standing with Finnish language. A largely mutually intelligible language with Norwegian and Danish. It is currently the largest of the North Germanic languages by number of speakers.

As of 2017, it has 10.5 million speakers around the world.

Gauntlet, ombudsman, smorgasbord, angstrom, tungsten, etc. are the words derived from Swedish registered in an English dictionary.
