This is the Hammond castle located in Gloucester, Massachusetts. It is one of the few that is located in the United States. It is on the Atlantic coast in the Magnolia area. The original owner, John Hays Hammond Jr had it constructed between 1926 and 1929.
Mr. Hammond was an inventor. He dealt with the early stages of “remote control” and held over 400 patents.
What a nice castle. It is nice to explore this place.
