This movie is based on true character, Michael “Eddie” Edwards, a British skier who in 1988 became the first competitor since 1929 to represent Great Britain in Olympic ski jumping. His only dream was to compete on the Olympics, and he did it. Although he finished last on the competition, he became living proof that persistence and strong will can take you anywhere. Hugh Jackman is brilliant in his role of the failed former ski jumper turning coach.
