This is the beach on Center Island, a small(ish) island not far from the centre of the city. The beach is clean and usually the water is great for swimming. The waves make it feel like you are by the sea/ocean, not a lake.

That is the greatness of the Great Lakes. All blue and still not completely spoiled with human contact.
