UCLA rookie Shareef O'Neal will miss 2018-19 season, experience heart medical procedure (1/2)

O’Neal was one of five best 100 underwriters for UCLA in its 2018 marking class, and was required to have an early effect for the Bruins. A 6-foot-9 control forward, he brings a smooth outside diversion, flexible barrier and two-route capacity for the Bruins.

“We adore the length and tallness of the current year’s group, and Shareef is extremely going to add to that unique,” UCLA mentor Steve Alford said a month ago. “He has a spectacular casing, one that will enable him to keep enhancing the two sides of the floor. With Shareef, you’re discussing a dedicated young fellow with huge upside, and his quality in our group’s frontcourt is a huge expansion.”

UCLA is as of now positioned No. 18 in the CBS Sports Top 25 (and one) and has a shot, behind gifted five-star green bean Moses Brown, to progress to the NCAA Tournament next season for the fifth time in the previous six years.
