Editing was done using ACDSee Ultimate 2019. I adjusted the levels and the lightin, then increased the clarity and sharpened the image slightly.. Next I converted to black and white.
The Amana Colonies were formed in 1855 by German Pietists. They lived communally until 1932. The Amana Corporation, which manufacturers kitchen appliances, is part of their group.
