About 50 miles of winding roads away from our campsite in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park we crossed over from Tennessee to North Carolina. We we driving to see Clingmans Dome, the highest mountain elevation in this National Park. On the way was this view of the North Carolina mountains at a scenic overlook.
