Paddle Making at Paul Smith's College in the Adirondacks

When going to the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) meet at Paul Smith’s College in the Adirondacks of New York state you are exposed to a lot of great workshops on canoe building. Here near the Student Union on Lower Saint Regis Lake was a class on making canoe paddles. There are dozens of wood canoe paddles leaning in various stages of completion up against the railing.
