Here we were in the beautiful little town of Niagara On the Lake in Canada on the West side of the Niagara River. This side of the River is all Canadian and you can look directly across the fast moving river to the shores of the United States. Upriver just a short distance is Niagara Falls itself. The streets of this quaint town are lined with classic buildings made of stone and brick and the walkways are lined with gorgeous flowers.

I have never been to Niagara Falls (Canadian side) although I have heard that it is memorable. Being French Canadian I am almost ashamed of myself for admitting that but I just want to thank you for posting this post and this gorgeous picture of Niagara on the lake. It is strangely reminiscent of the old Quebec inner city….
