Mist Lifting Over the Adirondack Classic Canoe Race

In the early morning at the Adirondack Canoe Classic Race or “The 90-Miler” that went from Old Forge New York to Saranac Lake there was a foggy mist out on the water in the pre-sunrise hours. It was very chilly and the air was wet making it feel colder than the 38 degrees out. Later after most of the canoes had gone off in their different classes the sun was coming up and the mist was rising so you could see some blue sky. People were standing out on the peninsula to watch and there was a large speaker covered in plastic to keep out the rain and mist.
