Kitchen in the John Flanagan House

Here are a few more images of the inside of the John C. Flanagan House in Peoria, Illinois. The kitchen has changed much since the house was built in 1836 and now has “modern” conveniences such as a new General Electric refrigerator and a sideboard. Near the storage area on the wall is a grinder for spices and coffee. It makes you wonder what the original kitchen looked like and what conveniences it may of had. Did anyone see the mouse trap under the refrigerator?
