Inside the Eisenhower House, Gettysburg

In Gettysburg, Pennsylvania we are visiting the Dwight D. Eisenhower farm in the National Military Park there. Their house was a converted old farmhouse here and was modest in every way. Inside you can see the living room with obvious Mamie Eisenhower influences being in mostly shades of pink. She was First Lady of the United States from 1953-1961.  Even the office of Dwight D Eisenhower was modest being just a small alcove as you exit the building and having only a single metal Army military desk.
