After touring Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee and seeing all the neon lights and hearing the blues places playing music we came back to see another related attraction. There at the very beginning of Beale Street was the Gibson Guitar Factory (one of them in the United States).
I love guitar music and guitars, so we signed up for one of the factory tours that take you through to see every aspect of the making of Gibson wood guitars. These were mostly the hollow body electric guitars that B.B. King played, but also other types and even mandolins. Unfortunately there was NO photographing inside the factory itself, but you could take photographs in the gift shop where the guitars were for sale.
Made a purchase there that I will never regret.
I have heard of Beale Street in Memphis but thanks for sharing the story of the guitars.
