There are many easy and short trails and waterfalls with rapids at and near Ohiopyle, Pennsylvania. One of the greatest is Cucumber Falls and it was so large that I had to do a panorama stitched together image to get it all in one photo. This panorama was stitched together from 11 separate photographs. The falls runs over a rock ledge and has eaten away a vast cave like opening below the falls over the eons. You can also go above and stand on the ledge and look down if you dare.
Nice photographic feat. But I wonder why the name Cucumber falls if it is such a huge falls. Just a question if you can answer it.
