Conestoga Wagon at the Washington Tavern

While visiting the Washington Tavern near Shanksville, Pennsylvania on the National Road, I walked around the entire closed historic place to see what it was all about. One of the smaller buildings next to it was a sort of carriage house for the tavern and in it was a great Conestoga Wagon from the early days when people were heading West along the road and stayed overnight at the Tavern/ Inn.
