Canalboat on the Erie Canal Brockport

There often are traditional Canalboats down on the historic Erie Canal and they often dock here in downtown Brockport, New York. This is an originally shaped one out of steel following the design of a wooden historic Canalboat. These are rentable so you can cruise up and down the Erie Canal. Many people carry bikes with them to explore the towns. The boats have radios aboard to call the liftbridge operators along the canal to open the bridges.
