Try not to automatically download the ‘upgrades’ , for most of them work worse then what you have now.
So called ‘Improving’ programs often are doors to get into your computer. Making it difficult to automatically load the ‘upgrades’ allows you to verify what is being added.
Be very careful and suspicious at all times.
There are many programs and applications which are malware. Many which will breach your privacy. Don’t deliberately put one on your computer.
