In the Asia Cup 2018 Super Four Round, India defeated Pakistan by nine wickets. This is India’s biggest victory over Pakistan in terms of difference of wickets in ODIs.
With this, India has reached the Asia Cup final. Before that on Tuesday,25-09-2018, India will play against Afghanistan without any fear of win and loss.

Pakistan had earlier scored a target of 238 in front of India, which India achieved after losing just one wicket in 39.3 overs.From India, both openers scored centuries and shared a 210-run partnership for the first wicket.
Shikhar Dhawan scored 114 and captain Rohit Sharma scored 111 not out. Shikhar Dhawan was given the Man of the Match award.

Rohit Sharma completed his seven thousand runs in ODI cricket. One of the fastest seven-thousand-match runs which counts him the 5th in this category of record holder players. He achieved this record in 181 innings.It seemed at one time that India would win this match by ten wickets, but then Shikhar Dhawan was run out in an unfortunate way.
In the entire match, India’s batting line dominated over Pakistani spell. Earlier, winning the toss, the Pakistan team could able to put forward just 237 runs in front Indian Batsmen which was achieved easily by TEAM INDIA.
Only Shoaib Malik’s contribution to Pakistan’s team of 78 runs is the biggest and no any other batsman achieved such high score for team Pakistan.
