European Championship in kayak and canoe 2018 in Belgrade(Serbia)

From June 8 to 10, the European Championship in Kayak and Canoe will be held in Belgrade. At Lake Ada Ciganliji more than 1,000 competitors from about forty countries are visiting. The European Kayak Championship is a transit station on the way to Tokyo, or the Olympic Games, which will be held in the capital of Japan for two years.

After seven years, Belgrade will again host the best European kayakers. For Serbia, 26 competitors will be deployed in 17 crews – 15 from the regular program and two in parakayak. Teams of Ukraine, Belarus, Greece, Georgia have already arrived in the capital .

The opening ceremony of the European Championship is scheduled for Thursday, June 7 at 8 pm at Ada Ciganlija. Organizers announce that Belgrade is fully prepared for the organization of another great competition and hopes that the weather will be good.
