I love Greece. I studied Ancient Greece in High School (Greek, Greek philosophy, Greek Literature, Greek mythology) I think we studied something that was happening in Crete. I was in Greece once in a High School trip, very cultural and I had an incredible time. I am from Spain, we both have the Mediterranean Sea.

You probably studied about the Cretan War that was one of the longest sieges in History. The Ottomans were trying to conquer Candia that was conquered by the Venetians (Republic of Venice) and that specific battle came to be considered as a Christianity Vs Muslims so many countries helped at that time sending troops.
The (then called Candia) city that endured the 25 year old siege is my city, now called Heraklion. – capital of Crete island.
