We are exploring around Sycamore Lodge Campground in North Carolina. Apparently it was named this because there was a long Sycamore tree lined road as you approached the Lodge and campground. These are some of my favorite trees and I call them “Watercolor Trees” because the bark of the tree is so unique and multicolored. I stopped along the road to get a closeup view of the tree trunk of a Sycamore Tree with its light multicolored bark that peels off.
I have never seen a patterned bard like that. Interesting.
