Strangler Fig Tree at the Robinson Preserve

We are walking the elevated boardwalk pathway at the main building at the Robinson Preserve Park South and taking in the great sights. They had a jungle like area with elevated playgrounds for kids that had multiple stories and layers. As you walk out you see this incredible tree that I thought was a Banyan tree at first, but it had no air roots hanging down. This was a HUGE Strangler Fig Tree.  They are usually smaller and wind around another tree including palm trees and can go on to kill the strangled tree. Here it appears the winding vine tree has completely taken over and the original tree gone.
