Natural apples

Apples are a very important food in all the cooler climates, and is probably one of the first cultivated trees.

More than any other fruit, possibly with the exception of citrus fruits, apples are stored for months and retain much of their nutritional value.

Winter apples, picked in late autumn and stored just above the freezing point, have been an important food in Asia and Europe for millennia, and North America since the settling of Europeans in North America.

Those in the picture are from a not refined tree from our garden.

They are a bit small but very sweet :)))
