The flower was located in a garden on the southeast corner of Rosemont and Wayne in Chicago, Illinois. It was much larger than other Hibiscus that I have seen. Some people refer to them as a “dinner plate hibiscus” because of the size of the flower.
The photo was taken with a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera. I then used ACDSee Ultimate 10.4 to adjust the lighting and boost the contrast and vibrance to deepen the color a bit. It actually makes the image look more like the actual flower.
