Buckeye Tree in the Great Smoky Mountains

We are in Tennessee in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and exploring all around. At one overview area there was this giant tree called a “Buckeye”. Yes, it was famous because of “the Buckeye State” of Ohio. The tree produces large nuts that resemble the eye of a buck deer. This is one of the giant trees of the park and a view up the tree’s truck to its canopy.
