Barnum Brook Trail at the Visitor Interpretive Center

While at Paul Smith’s College for the WCHA (Wooden Canoe Heritage Association) meeting in the Adirondacks of New York state, it is fun to visit the Visitor Interpretive Center (VIC) next door. Here are many trails from short to long and all are fun and extremely beautiful. Down the Barnum Brook trail you finally get down to the water of the marshy lake with an island out in front of you with trees growing out and large boulders in front. If you are quiet, you can sneak up on marsh birds and even beavers which build their lodges along the shore and in the marsh. This panorama was stitched together from 8 separate images.  Open and zoom in for more detail.
