I have been bullied. I have fought back and stood up for myself. I have requested that people just leave me alone. Today someone asked why I had not forgiven a specific person. I replied “What makes you think I have not forgiven them?”
Well you don’t respond to them at all and you don’t seem to deal with them. I smiled. “I am smart enough to remember the vulgar remarks and the bullying. I choose not to put myself in a position where that will happen again. This doesn’t mean I have not forgiven them, it means I am protecting myself.
