DAY ALWAYS WINS

DAY always wins

sliding down shadows

locking them up

in the Night’s

mysterious Bins

melting Night away

as if to pay for

always unseen Sins

Day crept in tentacles

that crawled down the hills

and ate up the shadows

that lingered in Spills

light exploded and lit up

the world as the night

gave up and Died

Day always wins

no matter how hard

the shadows Tried

What do you think?
