Linda’s job wasn’t entirely bad. She worked in the kitchen. She cleaned the area, served food, and made sure the bathrooms were clean and stocked.
Usually it was only Arlene who worked in the office and herself on the premises.
When Arlene wasn’t at her desk, Linda could answer the phone.
It was a job which should have had little stress. And it would have, were it not for the obnoxious ‘Board Members’.
This was a gang of idiots which claimed to run the entity. They always behaved as if they were important. Always had to insult, demand, annoy.
Other members, not on the Board, were alright. Many of the minor members were polite, even friendly.
It almost balanced, the nice ones vs the unnice ones.
